Growmeo is handcrafted at our warehouse in Berkeley, California and planted at our greenhouse in San Francisco. With any product using natural materials, please allow for slight variations from the photos on the website including, size of plants, color, tone, and exact plant placement. If any of the above plant species are not available, we will provide a substitute with something similar. We use young, healthy plants for each custom order, so give your Growmeo a few weeks to fill in.
Through capillary action the plants passively absorb water from the bottom reservoir. No drainage needed.
Growtex’s water-efficient wicking technology provides the ideal amount of moisture and aeration.
Pocket design makes it easy to swap out plants (in the event Gromeo needs a makeover).

I bought the Mini Gromeo (I opted for it to come with no plants) to test out the waters. It was on sale so I could t say no. My walls aren't very high in my apartment and I have lots of tall moss poles. So I needed a smaller one for sure. The directions didn't 100% line up (probably because they were meant for the regular size). I was able to figure it out by watching the videos from the site. I just put it together last night so I hope it flourished.
I’ve been wanting to do an indoor living wall for quite some time. However, I wanted something that would be easy to maintain, not ruin the walls, and would match the aesthetic of our house. Habitat Horticulture made my dreams come true with the Gromeo Wall Planter. These planters were very easy to hang since they included a hanging template and a mini leveler. I bought the non-filled Gromeo, since we live in a cold weather state, but the planters were very easy to fill and I loved getting to pick out the plants. It is very easy to water, but one thing I have noticed is that the top plants tend to be drier than the bottom plant. This was easily remedied by planting moisture loving plants at the bottom and plants that don’t mind being drier towards the top. I did receive a stained Gromeo at first, but after contacting their customer service, they promptly sent a new one to replace the stained one. Overall, I am very happy with my Gromeo planters and would definitely buy again in the future. They are such a stylish and unique way to bring a little more greenery into your life.
Gromeo is just as pictured. Estimated shipping times are long, but accurate. I ordered two Gromeo Minis unplanted and only received one set of wrapping favorite. Contacted Gromeo support and they overnighted the second set, which was greatly appreciated. Wish the cutouts/pockets for the Mini were more conducive to planting so that there were fewer bald spots and hoping they’ll modify their methods in the future to address this issue.
Hi Carly, Thank you for the feedback. Glad you are happy with your Gromeo. We would love to see how you planted your them, feel free to share!
I took careful note of the measurement of the mini before ordering, but it is a tad bit misleading, most of the images on your site display the large "Gromeo" with 8 pockets, it was not totally clear from imagery or description that the mini was only a 4 pocket, which seems much harder to make lush-looking. Also the instructions even are not for the mini but picture the large size. At the same time you make no note of whether one 'can' plant multiple plants in a pocket or whether it's singular. It would also be nice to include a guide of plants to consider in the 'self-planting' category for each light condition.
Hello Victoria, Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate you taking the time as we are always looking for ways to improve. We apologize for the miscommunication, the photos show the variance in the number pockets between the sizes but you are correct that it is not in the description. We have now included with the dimensions. We are excited to be rolling out a planting guide for the unplanted orders to help guide you through the planting process. We hope to have video guide on the website soon as well. I have attached the guide below for you use. We are open to any more feedback and suggestions you might have! Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions.
